Message from the Organizers
On behalf of the Nurse Practitioner Association of Nova Scotia (NPANS), the International Council of Nurses (ICN) together with the Nurse Practitioner/Advanced Practice Network and the NPAPN Executive Organizing Committee, it is with great regret that we announce that the 11th ICN NP/APN Network Conference 2020 will be postponed by one year to August 29 – September 1, 2021. The Halifax Convention Centre as well as all partner hotels and suppliers gladly supported this decision and will remain by our side to carry this conference to term, in the best conditions possible!
The decision was made after numerous constructive discussions, close monitoring of the global risk assessment by the World Health Organization, travel restrictions in place and the fact that so many of you are currently working at the front lines of this global pandemic.
We feel the responsibility to care for your health and welfare and believe that postponing the Conference until 2021 is the best decision as it aims to ensure the integrity, safety and health of our participants, partners, and staff. We are also aware that health institutions, organizations and education facilities are restricting employees’ and students’ travel and participation in upcoming conferences.
A new year means a new website and a new hashtag! Save it, share it, stay updated on the conference and let’s all get ready for #NPAPN2021
